For fittings, during the busy summer holiday season, we are based at Shurgard Self Storage at 234 Penarth Road on the west side of Cardiff. At other quieter times of the year the fittings will be carried out at an alternative location in or near Cardiff. This will be stated at the time of booking. If you wish to know this before booking please contact us.

Where are you based?

How long does it take to have a roof box fitted?

It usually takes around 30 minutes to fit a box (and bars) and 15 to remove.

How much can I fit into a roof box?

Our 460 litre boxes are the size of a large family size car boot so can store a surprising amount of stuff. One important aspect to note however is there is a maximum weight limit restriction. As this can vary depending on the specific roof bars used and the vehicle make/model this will be stated at the time of the roof box fitting.

Do you charge a deposit?

A £30 non-refundable booking deposit is required to confirm the booking. The hire cost balance can then be paid at the time of the Roof Box fitting. For the deposit we accept payment via paypal and internet transfer (BACS). For the balance we accept card or cash payments.

Do you ever sell any Roof Boxes?

Yes from time to time we sell surplus boxes. Please enquire for availability and pricing.
